Our goal is to offer local vendor, local product whenever possible. By offering the capability of manufacturing in-house, we can control costs, quality and on-time delivery to the customer's satisfaction. Our two Mexico factories (established in 1987) have tremendous diversity in both machinery and personnel to handle: automated surface mounting, injection molding, auto insertion, wave soldering, tampo pad printing, screen printing, membrane printing, manual and robotic spray painting, in clean-room facilities (if required) to final assembly

Engineering and R & D (San Diego, California)

To support our customers' always changing requirements, SMK's engineering team offers: in-house 3D design capabilities (electrical, mechanical, industrial, software and packaging), product qualification (DVT, PVT and RVT) rapid prototyping, and agency approvals (UL, CSA, TUV, CE, FCC) for products manufactured at our Mexico facilities.
